Installing Paint Protection Film on Volvo S60

Check out our recent PPF installation work on Volvo S60, proudly brought to you by the Rikecool team. The owner of the vehicle chose XPEL Ultimate Plus for the side steps and headlights, and XPEL Stealth for the display screen.

Our Installation Process

We start by preparing the films needed for the job. For this job, we could not get the right patterns we needed, as such, the designer stepped in to craft out the pattern from the vehicle itself. The design took 2 hours in this case. Once the side steps and display screen patterns are ready, we print them out on the film, cut it, and then move on to the installation.

Our installer applies the XPEL installation gel on the display screen and the film. By using the XPEL Installation Gel, our installer was able to adjust the film on the display screen. The fit was perfect! Next was the side steps. As the surface of the side steps was relatively flat, our installer was able to complete this portion quickly.

Our installer then smoothens out the films to ensure there are no rough edges. To finish off, our installer cleans the affected areas to remove the excess installation gel. Check out the pictures taken during this installation below.
